| Description: | Thesis for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in physical and mathematical
sciences (speciality 01.04.03 radiophysics). Institute of Radiophysics and
Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkov, 2006.
The thesis presents a theoretical study electron beams interaction with
electromagnetic waves in circular and rectangular semiconductor plasma waveguides.
Collisions of electrons in the semiconductor material are taken into account as
well as external static magnetic eld. E ciency of the plasma-beam interaction in
considered plasma waveguides is determined. E ect of parameters of the plasmabeam
system on the e ciency of interaction is studied in detail. New information
on some peculiarities of the plasma-beam interaction in semiconductor plasma
waveguides is obtained. The results of the investigations could be widely applied
in modern particle or solid-state physics while creating plasma ampli ers and
generators. Practical recommendations for experimental studies of the plasmabeam
interaction in semiconductor plasma waveguides are developed in the thesis. |
